There are no easy answers in family conflicts with a cross-border element, whether it is about custody and access rights or the abduction of a child from or to Germany. Parents often feel left alone with their worries and professionals have many questions about the way forward. Our interdisciplinary team has been providing information on ways of dealing with conflict for ten years.

We offer about

We have a variety of qualifications, which enables us to respond effectively to the complexities of most concerns. We can provide advice on legal and socio-pedagogical questions. Members of the team have undergone additional training in supervision, mediation or as specialists in child protection (INSOFA). Other advisers possess a Master’s degree in children’s rights or intercultural conflict resolution.
We have been providing cultural sensitive advice and support for many years on family conflicts with a cross-border element. All our team members also have experience of working abroad. This helps us because, apart from dealing with the actual conflict, questions relating to international and foreign law also arise quite often. Differing cultural concepts and ideals also play a role at times.
In order to support you, we speak other languages as well as German: currently English, Spanish and French. Do contact us though if you need advice in another language. We have always managed to find individual solutions until now.
You can make use of our advice service by sending us a message via our contact form or get in touch by phone. Please note that we are unable to offer personal consultations on our premises.
If you are in need of legal representation, we can give you details of specialist lawyers or you can use our directory.
